The Olympic champion Daniel Gyurta reached the fourth time (2'13"71), between Luca Pizzini (2'13"43) and Edoardo Giorgetti (2'14"86).
The 50m butterfly final seems to be very fast, with the Ukrainian Andrey Govorov, in course 4, thanks to his 24” in the heats, together the German Steffen Deibler (24"20) and Piero Codia (24"34).
Elisa Celli will swim to win in 200m breaststroke; she will start with the second time (2'29"31) near to the Czech Martina Moravcikova (2'29"05) and the Icelander Hrafnhildu Luthersdottir (2'29"73).
Towards the podium Christopher Ciccarese (2'00"33) and Luca Mencarini (2'00"95) behind the Hungarian Peter Bernek (1'58"99) in 200m backstroke heats.
Damiano Lestingi qualifies in the final of 200m medley with the third time of 2'02"44 behind the German couple composed by Markus Deibler (2'02"02) and Philip Heintz (2'02"07). In final there are also Federico Turrini (2'02"85), but no Fabio Scozzoli who has carried out a kind of agonistic training with 2'06"31.
In the female race, the Hungarian Katinka Hosszu wins with 2'12"17 and aims at the event record of 2'11"34 obtained by the Australian Stephanie Rice in 2008. Stefania Pirozzi is forced to jack in the competition because of an intestinal influenza. Here below the best times of the third and last day heats.
